Investment Criteria

Our focus is on companies with operational profits between $0.7 million and $2 million, generating revenues between $4 million and $20 million. We prioritize businesses with strong margins of 15% or higher and those that are asset-light, as these characteristics indicate operational efficiency and financial health.

Industry Dynamics

We target industries with positive tailwinds, low concentration, and minimal cyclicality. Companies operating in sectors that require low capital expenditures and exhibit strong growth potential are of particular interest to us.

Farid Barriga

Principal and Founder

Mr. Barriga brings over a decade of diverse experience in management consulting, entrepreneurship, finance, technology, and non-profits, all with a deep passion for helping businesses thrive. He began his career at Axia IB, a boutique investment banking firm in Colombia, where he contributed to transactions with an aggregate value exceeding $180 billion. At Axia, Farid gained invaluable experience in buy-side and sell-side M&A, as well as debt and equity financing across various industries, including power generation, mining, financial services, agriculture, and funeral services throughout Latin America.

In 2016, Farid joined McKinsey & Company, one of the world's leading management consulting firms. At McKinsey, he worked closely with a wide range of organizations, including multiple Fortune 500 companies, advising them on strategic growth, technology, operations, and finance across North and Latin America. Farid specialized in crafting strategies that drive performance and sustainable growth, helping businesses navigate complex challenges and seize new opportunities.

Farid also lead growth efforts at Addi, a BNPL startup in Colombia funded by top-tier investors like a16z, Foundation Capital, and Quona Capital. At Addi, he was responsible for driving sales strategy and operations, as well as managing customer lifecycle , contributing to over $1 billion in annual originations.

Outside of work, Farid enjoys staying active by working out, playing tennis and golf, and experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen. He’s also an avid traveler and reader. Farid holds an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a BSc. in Industrial Engineering from Universidad de los Andes in Colombia.
